Critical hourly warning from Meteorology! "Yellow" alert for 23 cities!
According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the whole of our country will be partly to very cloudy, and the Marmara, Inner Aegean, Black Sea, the Taurus region of the Eastern Mediterranean, the Lakes Region, Central Anatolia (except Konya and Karaman), the north of Eastern Anatolia and the east of Van, and the surroundings of Hakkari will experience intermittent showers and thunderstorms.
Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the inner parts of the Western Black Sea, the Central Black Sea, Edirne, Kırklareli, Ankara, Eskişehir, Çankırı and Kırıkkale.
Wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from the north in Marmara, and from the south and southwest in Central Anatolia and the inner parts of the Aegean, Mediterranean and Western Black Sea regions.
It is estimated that air temperatures will continue to remain above seasonal norms throughout the country.
The 23 provinces where the Meteorology Department has issued a "yellow" alert due to strong winds are as follows: Ankara, Antalya, Eskişehir, Konya, Kayseri, Kütahya, Edirne, Sivas, Afyonkarahisar, Amasya, Burdur, Çankırı, Çorum, Isparta, Kırklareli, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, Niğde, Tokat, Yozgat, Aksaray, Karaman and Kırıkkale.
